To complete the details for onboarding, the employee will need to have the following ready:
- emergency contact’s name and contact details,
- bank BSB and account number,
- Tax File Number.
After receiving the welcome email from the employer, the employee will be requiredto:
1. Click the Start your onboarding link in the email, or directly access the URL: www.employerstarter.com.au
The Employee onboarding screen opens with the employee email prefilled.
Note: If the have employee has previously logged into the Employer Portal, the Employee login screen displays.
2. Check that the Email is correct.
3. Type your Date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, e.g. 12/02/2001.
Note: An incorrect email or date of birth will lock the employee out of the Portal. However, a self serve button will display which will allows them to unlock their account providing they have access to the registered email address.
4. Click Continue.
The Employee will then be required to:
- Complete identify verification and authentication;
- Create a Password
- Accept Terms and Conditions of Use
Collecting employee details
At any stage of the registration process, an employee can logout of the Portal and then return later to complete your details. All changes are automatically saved.
Details are collected through 5 steps:
1. Your details
2. Tax File Number
3. Financial details
4. Super Selector
5. Summary
