Most employees can choose the super fund they want their contributions paid into.
SuperSelector is designed to provide employees with the option to select any fund and provide this information to their employer..
Super Selector walks employees through the following options:
- An existing super fund has been identified – the SuperChoice platform can identify if contributions have previously been sent for the individual to a super fund. The existing super fund details will be presented as an option for the employee to select.
- Choose your employer’s default super fund.
- Choose any APRA super fund.
- Select a Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF)
- Request employer to check for a 'stapled super account' with the ATO.
Note: If no 'Stapled fund account' exists for the individual (or cannot be used), the employer can pay the employee contributions to the employer default super fund.
