Depending on the selected filter options, a contributions report will display coloured status icons with
counter numbers that indicate how many errors, warnings and accepted transactions there are for
Member Events and Contribution Events in a contribution upload.
For further details on each coloured status, you can select the help icon to the far right of the 'HERE ARE YOUR FILTERED MESSAGES' header or refer to What do the status icons in reports indicate.
Review submission status and any response messages
1. Select your report filters, and then click the Search button. Detail on how to filter a report can be viewed here, How do I use filters to create a report.
Note to search error messages and refund information, ensure you select 'Errors' and 'Warnings' under the 'Feedback Severity' filter option.
The results will display in the bottom panel.
2. Locate the contribution you want to investigate, and then on the same row, click the coloured rectangle under No. of Member Events or No. of Contributions.
A window that lists a summary of the errors and warnings displays.
(In the below example, because a red rectangle under No. of Contributions was clicked, a summary of errors for Contribution events displays.)
3. Locate the error you want to view and click anywhere in the row.
A window opens and displays details about the error, including the message feedback.
4. To return to the summary of messages, click the Back to the Summary button. Otherwise, click Close to return to the report screen.
For instructions on how to download the reporting results, please refer to the How do I download a contribution report article.
