If an employee advises a change to their SMSF Electronic Service Address (ESA) its important that this is managed correctly to avoid creating duplicate SMSF records.
As soon as you are advised on the change:
- Log in to the portal and navigate to employer maintenance
- Select the employer that holds the SMSF records
3. Click on the Manage Funds menu item
4. Enter the ABN of the SMSF you need to update, then click on the edit icon on the fund
5. Select the required ESA from the dropdown list and click OK
6. You can now upload your contribution file with the updated ESA value
