CareSuper and Spirit Super Merger Announcement
On November 1, 2024, CareSuper and Spirit Super will merge under the CareSuper name.
Action 1: Early SG Payment by October 9, 2024 for CareSuper employers
To facilitate timely processing during Limited Service Period (LSP), we recommend CareSuper employers make their Q1 Super Guarantee (SG) payments by October 9, 2024. This will allow sufficient time for processing before the LSP starts on October 22. Normal payments can resume on November 1.
Note: Late payments may incur the ATO's super guarantee charge (SGC). If you miss the deadline, contact the ATO immediately.
Payment Schedule for Quarter 1 is July 1 - September 30.
ATO due date is October 28; recommended due date is October 9.
Action 2: Update Fund Details from November 1, 2024
CareSuper and Spirit Super employers must update Fund Name, USI, and ABN in their clearing house and/or payroll system.
