The SuperChoice Employer Portal supports the upload of files containing data for multiple employers. The user must have access to all the employers in the file to facilitate this and care must be taken to ensure data integrity and privacy is maintained.
Employer matching
If the employer entity data in the uploaded file does not match an employer entity the user has access to, and if the user has sufficient permissions, the user will be prompted to select from available employer entities. Care must be taken to choose the correct employer entity to ensure employees and memberships are created under the correct employer entity.
If the correct employer entity is not found in the available list, the uploaded file should be immediately deleted, and the correct employer entity onboarding process should be followed before the file is uploaded again.
Additional care should be taken where multiple employer entities share the same ABN. Unique employer entity names should be recorded in the portal and their matching values provided in the upload file to ensure accurate employer matching.
Unresolved member matching exceptions
Extreme care must be taken to resolve member match exceptions for a multi employer entity file as quickly as possible. SuperChoice recommends only loading these type of files if there is a low risk of employer users accessing the portal while exceptions are being resolved to ensure data integrity. After hours or weekends are the best options to minimise this risk.
